Performance as a guest artist
Lyon International Piano Competition

Olena Pognoievska had the honour of bringing the final of the Lyon International Piano Competition to a close as a guest artist, as a culmination of the designation of the winner of the international piano competition.
During her performance, Olena was accompanied by pianist Noboyushi Shima, born in Hokkaïdo, Japan. She performed six beautiful romances of the renowned Russian composer Sergei Rachmaninoff.

Olena collaborated with the National Academic Orchestra of Folk Instruments of Ukraine (NAONI) in a mesmerizing musical video featuring the enchanting song 'Stork' by Ukrainian composer Oleksandr Bilash. Filmed at the National Museum of Folk Architecture and Life of Ukraine, the video beautifully captures the lyrical narrative of love from the perspective of a female stork.
The soaring melodic line, accompanied by the orchestra's rich harmonies, creates a magical sensation of floating above the world.

Olena had the honor of collaborating with the prestigious National Academic Orchestra of Folk Instruments of Ukraine (NAONI) to capture the essence of a number of Ukrainian folk songs, in a recording session that took place at the central studios of the National Radio Company of Ukraine.
The project highlighted the enchanting melodies and beautiful harmonies of traditional Ukrainian music.

Olena Pognoievska had the honor of collaborating with the renowned Ukrainian musician Victor Grytsyshyn, on a special musical arrangement intended for orchestra and voice entitled 'Lukash's Reed Pipe', originally composed by the celebrated Ukrainian composer A. Kos-Anatolsky.
This musical masterpiece narrates the captivating tale of Mavka, a mystical forest being who falls in love with a human named Lukash, enchanted by the mesmerizing sound of his reed-pipe. The blend of Grytsyshyn's arrangement, the orchestra's exceptional performance, and the soul-stirring melody harmonize to craft an extraordinary and unforgettable musical odyssey. It beautifully captures the essence of Ukrainian music and folklore, deeply resonating with all who experience it.
